The twelfth season of HISTORY's #1 program. There has been extensive coverage of the work done this year, as it is the most anticipated season of the show. Episodes were announced October 10, 2024.
Lots of work happened over the summer, including around the perimeter and Garden Shaft. Work started June 2024. Brothers Rick and Marty Lagina return with their boldest plans yet.
This season the team investigates ties to Malta and narrows the location of the gold down to "The Golden Egg", before dismissing evidence of the treasure being north of the Money Pit. The team also uncovers a Brick Container structure in the north end of the swamp, supposedly owned by mysterious man Anthony Graves. They hire the massive drill program back, and uncover the fabled"Solution Channel".
